Legal OnRamp Files Amicus Brief in Supreme Court Case on 21st Century Inventions

MOFFETT FIELD, CA – Legal OnRamp, the leading collaborative web platform for U.S. lawyers, today announced its filing of an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court case, Bilski v. Doll, which is expected to provide a landmark decision on the patentability of 21st century creations from software to biotech.

In the case, the Court will review the Federal Circuit’s January 2009 decision limiting the eligibility for patenting of so-called “business methods,” shorthand for a wide range of processes not tied to manufacturing.
