The National Association of Women Business Owners-Indianapolis (NAWBO-Indy) has honored Amie Peele Carter of Baker & Daniels LLP with the Indianapolis Choice award in recognition of her advocacy for the organization and Indiana's women business owners.

Baker & Daniels LLP has awarded its 2012 diversity scholarships to Mauri Miller and Danny Thiemann, second-year law students at the University of Notre Dame Law School and the Indiana University Maurer School of Law – Bloomington, respectively. Each student will receive a $10,000 scholarship and placement in the firm's summer associate class.
