On Thursday, December 15, 2011, members of the Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP had dinner at JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, New Jersey. JBJ Soul Kitchen is a non-profit community restaurant run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.

Christine F. Li, partner in the Real Estate Department of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP (GRS&D), has been selected to the final short list of Chambers and Partners ‘Women in Law’ Awards, which honors the outstanding female lawyers in the United States. The award ceremony will be held on February 2, 2012 at The Plaza in New York City.

David A. Roth, a partner and Chair of the Environmental Practice Group at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP’s Woodbridge office, was a speaker at, “Working with Your LSRP” short course on December 5, 2011. The seminar was hosted by the Rutgers University Agricultural Experiment Station.

David T. Shivas, a member of the Litigation Department at the law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, presented the seminar, “Avoiding Business and Personal Liability under the NJ Consumer Fraud Act (CFA),” on October 25th at the firm’s Woodbridge office. The dinner seminar attracted an audience of business owners and professionals.

The law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP announces that Christopher Jerry, Laura Fisher and Jo Ann Gambale have joined the firm as associates. Mr. Jerry and Ms. Gambale are located in the firm’s Woodbridge office and Ms. Fisher works out of the Roseland office.

In its first ever national law firm rankings, Martindale Hubbell announced that Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP (GRS&D) was recognized as one of the top ranked law firms in the United States based on the percentage of its lawyers who have received Martindale’s “AV” rating, the highest category. In fact, 42 GRS&D lawyers have been rated "AV" based on evaluations by their peers.

Brown, chair of the White Collar Defense & Corporate and International Human Rights Compliance Group (IHRC) at the law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, moderated a panel, Conversation with Leaders of Global Women’s Issues, at the 33rd Annual Conference of the National Association of Women Judges on October 13, 2011 at the Gateway Hilton in Newark, NJ.
