Winstead PC

Aida Wondwessen joined the Dallas office of Winstead PC on Sep. 7, 2010. She will work as an associate in the Business Restructuring/Bankruptcy practice group. She received her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law where she was case note and comment editor for Science and Technology Law Review.

Winstead PC has hired Howard L. Mudrick as the firm's new executive director. Mudrick brings more than 31 years of experience, assisting law firms and professional service organizations in all areas of management, strategic vision and growth.

Winstead PC has hired Lacey L. Gourley as a shareholder in the Austin office. Gourley works in Winstead's highly regarded Labor, Employment and Immigration Practice Group, helping clients who face employment law issues, and defending employers in state and federal court litigation and administrative proceedings. She was previously with Bracewell & Giuliani LLP.

Winstead PC has hired Jennifer K. Patterson as of counsel, working in Winstead's Taxation, Employee Benefits and Private Business practice group. Patterson helps clients with state and local tax issues, including sales and use tax, franchise tax, motor fuels tax and property tax. In addition to tax matters, her practice also covers government relations and economic development for clients.

Winstead has hired Donna B. Barton, an attorney who will lead Winstead efforts to provide a niche practice in the San Antonio office focused on telecommunications, real estate and the integration of technology with the operations of real estate assets.
