Paralegal completes law course with commendation
YORK, UNITED KINGDOM (August 29, 2007) - Clair Douglas, a paralegal at York solicitors Rollits, has received a commendation from The College of Law, York in the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
Clair, who joined Rollits in 2001 as a receptionist in the York office, was promoted the following year to the position of paralegal in the Social Housing Group where she now handles general sales and purchases for Registered Social Landlord clients.
Clair studied part time for her LPC over two years, after taking her law degree, also part time, through the Open University and The Law Society. In September she will start a training contract with Rollits with a view to qualifying as a solicitor in March 2009.
Managing Partner of Rollits, Richard Field, said: "All the team here offer Clair our congratulations. She has worked extremely hard over the last six years to achieve both her qualifications. We look forward to helping her develop and learn in her chosen field."
