NEW MANAGING PARTNER FOR WITHY KING

BATH, UK (July 20, 2010) - The head of Withy King’s construction and engineering division, Graham Street, has been appointed managing partner.

Graham, who joined Withy King shortly in 1990, became partner and head of the firm’s construction and engineering team in 1998. He has been a member of the Partnership Board since 2006.

Graham takes over the reins from Martin Powell who has been managing partner since 1999.

Over the last decade, Martin has guided the firm through four acquisitions which have boosted its annual turnover from £3m to £16m. As a result, Withy King has significantly broadened and deepened its range of private client and corporate commercial services and extended its reach with a network of offices in Bath, Swindon, Marlborough, Oxford and London.

Martin will take up a key position in Withy King’s commercial practice, leading its specialist healthcare team and contributing to business development and client relationship management initiatives across the firm.

Graham, whose appointment took effect on 1 July, will continue to head the firm’s construction and engineering team.
