Scott B. Allinson Served as Moderator for GLVCC and PACC Congressmen Luncheon
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (August 30, 2010) - Scott B. Allinson, a Member of Tallman Hudders & Sorrentino, the Pennsylvania office of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A., served as moderator for a congressional luncheon with Congressmen Scott Garrett (5th District, New Jersey) and Charlie Dent (15th District, Pennsylvania) entitled “Bi-State Congressional Cooperation - How Can We Best Work Together?” on August 17, 2010, at The Architects Golf Club in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Hosted by the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Phillipsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, this interactive luncheon, sponsored by the firm, served as a forum for learning more about federal government issues that affect both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and how government leaders can work jointly on matters that impact residents of both states. Attendees were provided the opportunity to ask questions and a spirited debate ensued.
“The uncertainty of the current political climate serves as a great opportunity for our elected officials to work jointly towards common goals. Residents of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey want to see their communities thrive and job creations continue. Crossing state lines and banding together towards common goals is a regional solution to achieving future success,” says Allinson.
Allinson, a resident of Allentown, specializes in commercial litigation and business law, with an emphasis on economic development law, construction law, creditors’ rights law, corporate and partnership governance, and general and complex commercial litigation.
Allinson earned his J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Lehigh University.
