Morris joins firm's professional, medical liability groups
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (September 8, 2010) - Devon Battersby Morris, an attorney who focuses her practice in the areas of professional and medical liability, recently joined Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest law firms.
As a member of the firm’s Professional Liability Practice Group, Morris defends clients in malpractice actions with an emphasis on claims against attorney and accountant professionals.
Morris, who is also a member of Plunkett Cooney’s medical liability group represents hospitals and physicians in malpractice litigation with an emphasis on obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, psychiatry and nursing-related issues.
An attorney in the Plunkett Cooney’s Bloomfield Hills, Morris is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Michigan and Illinois. She received her law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2004. While there, Morris served as the Comments Editor of the Journal of Sports Law and Contemporary Problems and as a member of the college’s Moot Court national trial team. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame in 2000.
