Ronald Armbrust Joins Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP’s Fort Lauderdale Office; Adds to Firm’s Insurance Services Depth
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (November 17, 2010) - The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP announces that Ronald O. Armbrust has joined the firm as Senior Counsel in its Insurance Services Practice Group. He will practice in Hinshaw’s Fort Lauderdale office. Previously, Mr. Armbrust was a Partner with the Florida law firm, Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.

Mr. Armbrust focuses his practice on complex technical insurance coverage, bad faith, commercial, toxic tort, mass tort, construction defect and products liability defense litigation. He has experience representing clients in litigation involving air bags, aluminum furnaces, ash handling equipment, cast iron drainage pipes, catalytic crackers, commercial garage doors, gas and coal fired furnaces, gas transmission lines, generators, hydraulic systems, oil and grain storage tanks, reciprocating and rotary compressors, refractories, shut down devices and safety switches, steam boilers, steam turbines, trash handling and off-road heavy equipment, valves and water sensing devices. In toxic tort litigation, he has represented clients in matters involving both carbon monoxide and diethyline glycol poisoning. In mass tort litigation, he has represented clients in litigation involving asbestosis and silicosis, and factor concentrate/HIV infection. Mr. Armbrust’s clients have included architects, electrical generating facilities, engineers, insurance companies, manufacturers, oil refineries and paper mills.
Mr. Armbrust earned his J.D. in 1975 from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He received an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1973, and a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from that school in 1971.
