Greenbaum Rowe Partner, Raymond M. Brown, Spoke at UN Conference on Victims’ Participation Before the International Criminal Court

- Raymond M. Brown, Chair of the White Collar Defense and Corporate Compliance Group at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP (GRS&D), delivered remarks about the participation of victims before the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the role of legal representation at a conference sponsored by Chile, Finland, Italy and Luxembourg. The conference took place on December 6, 2010 at the UN. Mr. Brown has been representing victims of the Darfur genocide before the International Criminal Court for a number of years.

In an upcoming conference on December 16th, Mr. Brown will speak at the Association of the Bar of the City of NY at a conference entitled, "Reflection on the ICC Review Conference: Examining its Successes, Failures and Impact on Africa".

On the corporate front, Mr. Brown chairs the The International Human Rights Compliance Group at GRS&D. The group counsels multinationals, both foreign and domestic, in a number of areas: human rights impact assessments, governance, transactions and dispute resolution or litigation.

Mr. Brown is the host of the Emmy Award winning New Jersey Network Program "Due Process” and is a Fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Criminal Lawyers. He received his B.A. from Columbia University and his Juris Doctor from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley.
