WILMINGTON, Del. (January 11, 2011) - Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeffrey W. Gluck, Ph.D., Roberte Marie D. Makowski, Ph.D., Jerome T. Miraglia and Keith A. Walter, Jr. to partnership. In addition, the firm elected Timothy M. Holly and Christina M. Thompson to Of Counsel.

Jeffrey W. Gluck, Ph.D.
Dr. Gluck practices in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. He represents clients in a variety of areas including patent counseling and opinions, licensing and transactions, interferences, prosecution and reissue and reexaminations in electrical, computer and Internet matters. Dr. Gluck received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and his J.D. from Georgetown University.

Roberte Marie D. Makowski, Ph.D.
Dr. Makowski practices in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. She represents clients in a variety of areas including patent counseling and opinions, interferences, prosecution and reissue and reexaminations in the life sciences areas. Dr. Makowski received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Ottawa, her Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan and her J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law.

Jerome T. Miraglia
Mr. Miraglia practices in the firm’s Business Law Group. He represents clients in a variety of areas including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, securities, commercial finance, investment adviser counseling, licensing, Delaware opinions, and general corporate services. Mr. Miraglia received his bachelor’s degree from Haverford College and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law.

Keith A. Walter, Jr.
Mr. Walter practices in the firm's Intellectual Property Group. He represents clients in a variety of areas, including patent litigation, antitrust, counseling and opinions, licensing and transactions, trademark and copyright litigation and unfair competition and trade secrets. Mr. Walter received his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and his J.D. from Temple University School of Law.

Timothy M. Holly
Mr. Holly practices in the firm’s Business Law Group. He represents clients in a variety of areas including corporate litigation, commercial litigation, labor and employment law matters, and electronic discovery and records management. Mr. Holly received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College, his master’s degree from Xavier University and his J.D. from Villanova University.

Christina M. Thompson
Ms. Thompson practices in the Business Law Group in the area of Commercial Bankruptcy. She received her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and her J.D. from the Widener University School of Law.
