Darkes Selected to Serve as Moderator for American Trucking Association Litigation Forum
HARRISBURG, Pa. (March 15, 2011) - McNees attorney, Barbara Darkes, has been selected to serve as a moderator for a panel presentation during the ATA Litigation Center's Forum for Motor Carrier General Counsel on July 24 - 27, 2011 at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
Barbara will moderate the panel session called If You Don't Leave me Alone, I'll Find Someone Who Will: Managing Collections. The session is scheduled for Monday, July 25 at 9:00 a.m.
Barbara is chair of the Transportation, Distribution and Logistics group of McNees Wallace & Nurick. Her practice includes litigation of trucking issues arising in state courts, the minor judiciary and administrative agencies. She represents and counsels clients in general transportation matters, including securing and maintaining federal and state operating authority, defending against sanctions imposed by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and providing general advice and representation in driver license and motor vehicle matters.
