John Coleman Sole Alabama Attorney Named to "Human Resource Executive/Lawdragon’s 2011 Nation’s Most Powerful Corporate Employment Attorneys"

- John J. Coleman III, a partner in the Birmingham office of Burr & Forman LLP, is the sole Alabama attorney to have been named to “Human Resource Executive / Lawdragon’s Nation’s Most Powerful Corporate Employment Lawyers in America,” for the third year in a row. Only 100 attorneys nationwide were included on the list and were selected on the basis of curriculum-vitae analyses, evaluations by clients and peers, and reporting by the Lawdragon staff.

A Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Coleman is a member of the American Bar Association and its OSHA Subcommittee, the Alabama State Bar (Past Chair, Labor and Employment Section), the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Texas. An adjunct professor at Cumberland School of Law, he received his J. D. in 1981 and his A.B. in 1978, magna cum laude, both from Duke University.
