Farrell Fritz Partner, James M. Wicks, Elected Chairman of the Long Island Museum Board

- Farrell Fritz, P.C. is proud to announce that, effective July 1, 2011, partner, James M. Wicks, has been elected Chairman of the Board of the Long Island Museum of American Art, History & Carriages. He will serve a two-year term.

Mr. Wicks, an East Setauket resident, is a frequent contributor to Farrell Fritz’s New York Commercial Division Case Compendium blog. Additionally, Mr. Wicks is an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law. He also serves on the board of the Nassau Aviators Wheelchair Sports Association. Mr. Wicks earned his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheeling College. He was appointed by Chief Judge Lippmann last year to the New York State Judicial Institute of Professionalism.

The Long Island Museum is a Smithsonian Affiliate dedicated to American history and art with a Long Island connection. The museum has the finest collection of horse drawn vehicles in the United States, as well as significant collections of art and historical artifacts.
