Veronique A. Urban Joins Farrell Fritz as a Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights and Healthcare Associate

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (July 21, 2011) - Farrell Fritz, P.C. is pleased to welcome Veronique A. Urban, a Garden City, NY resident, to its Uniondale office as a bankruptcy & creditors’ rights and healthcare associate. Her practice includes representing corporate debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, official committees and other parties in interest in bankruptcy court proceedings. Ms. Urban also assists on transactional and regulatory matters in the representation of individual health care providers, physicians groups and hospitals.

Prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Ms. Urban was an associate at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP in New York, NY. She earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and International Law Certificate from Pace University School of Law, where she was the CISG Executive Editor for the Pace International Law Review. While in law school, Ms. Urban acted as a Student Attorney at the John Jay Legal Services, Securities Arbitration Clinic and was a competitor in the American Bar Association National Client Counseling Competition. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from James Madison University.

Ms. Urban is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Ms. Urban is fluent in French.
