Arnstein & Lehr’s Vanessa Negron Cohn Elected President of Georgetown University Alumni Club for the West Coast of Florida

TAMPA, Fla. (August 24, 2011) - Arnstein & Lehr is pleased to announce that Vanessa Negron Cohn, a partner in the firm’s Tampa office, was recently elected president of the Georgetown University Alumni Club for the West Coast of Florida.

Ms. Cohn focuses her law practice in transactional commercial real estate, business organizational matters and the representation of lenders and other creditors. In the area of transactional real estate law, Ms. Cohn counsels clients on issues including real estate financing, acquisitions, development, sales and leases. She represents lenders in many aspects of their businesses, from the documentation of commercial loans, to the workout and restructuring of defaulted loans and the enforcement of loan documents, including foreclosures, landlord-tenant matters and the sale of assets.

Ms. Cohn earned her undergraduate degree at Boston College and her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.

The Georgetown University Alumni Club is comprised of alumni, new students, parents, family and friends of Georgetown University, and it engages in activities designed to recruit new students to the university and to allow alumni to reconnect with each other. Throughout the year, members participate in new student send-offs, luncheons, community service projects, basketball games, lectures and tours.
