Shemtob Law Adds New Associate

BLUE BELL, Pa. (October 13, 2011) - Shemtob Law, PC, one of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania’s leading divorce and family law firms is pleased to announce that MariaJosé Delgado has joined the firm as an associate.

Ms. Delgado will represent clients in a myriad of family law matters including divorce, custody, alimony, and pre- and post-marital contractual arrangements. Ms. Delgado began her career in domestic violence court as a judicial intern to the Honorable Ida Chen in Philadelphia. She is trained as a Child Advocate and has also completed trainings in Collaborative Divorce and custody mediation to assist clients, when it best serves their interests and is at all possible, to settle matters collaboratively.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section, the Montgomery Bar Association Diversity Committee, the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania, and the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court. A graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law (J.D. 2010) Ms. Delgado received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia (B.A. 2001) and completed post-baccalaureate study at the Pontificial Gregorian University in Religions and Cultures (2003-2005).
