Greenbaum Rowe Partner, Christine F. Li, Moderates the Community Association Law Summit
WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (November 7, 2011) - Christine F. Li, a partner in the Community Association Practice Group at the law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP, organized and served as the conference moderator of the inaugural Community Association Law Summit on November 2nd. The Summit was hosted by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and presented in cooperation with the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. Over 150 people attended the conference, which analyzed ten of the most significant issues faced by community associations and included strategies and solutions for problems that are both routine and extraordinary.
The luncheon portion of the event featured a Special Ethics Presentation given by Lee Gronikowski, Esq., Deputy Ethics Counsel at the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics.

Ms. Li, chair of the Planned Real Estate Practice Group, co-chair of the Distressed Real Estate Practice Group, and member of the Community Association Group, focuses her practice on condominium and planned real estate development law, including the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. She has experience in the acquisition and sale, financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate. She represents developers, sponsors of the conversion of rental properties, community associations, and lending institutions.
Ms. Li is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the College of Community Association Lawyers. She is the chair of the Board of Consultors of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), and has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the Real Estate Law category, Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in the Real Estate category, Super Lawyers - New Jersey Edition in Real Estate, Super Lawyers - Corporate Counsel Edition, and one of New Jersey's Top 50 Women Lawyers in 2008 and 2011.
