Moore & Van Allen Welcomes New Corporate Member

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (November 17, 2011) - Moore & Van Allen has named James R. Wyche the newest member of their Charlotte office Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He will focus his practice in the business and corporate finance area, including securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate representation.

Wyche serves as outside counsel to public and private companies, advising boards of directors, special committees and senior management on corporate governance, securities law and corporate finance matters, M&A transactions, strategic matters, and executive compensation. He has represented clients in a variety of transactions, ranging from the purchase or sale of public and private companies, leveraged buyouts, defensive measures and strategic alliances to public debt and equity issuances, private placements, tender offers and consent solicitations.
