Top Defense Firm In Gulf South Welcomes Two Attorneys
TAMPA, Fla. (November 21, 2011) - Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith (GJTBS) is pleased to announce the addition of Nicole M. Fluet and Katie L. Everlove-Stone to their ever growing team in Tampa. The attorneys vary in skill, ranging from estate planning to insurance defense and are exceptional in their practices.
A native of the Tampa Bay area, Nicole Fluet graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with a Bachelor of the Arts in Sociology. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at the University of Florida, Nicole was the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and the Internal Relations Chair of the Admissions Student Recruitment Team.
Nicole is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and practices in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, first-party property, and foreclosure.
Katie Everlove-Stone received her LL.M. degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law. She is also a graduate of Stetson University College of Law. At Stetson, Katie was a Teaching Fellow and a member of the Moot Court Board, where she won first place in the 2006 National Tax Moot Court Competition.
Prior to joining GJTBS, Katie Everlove-Stone was an associate at Akerman Senterfitt’s Tampa office for several years. Katie is a native of Tampa Bay and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the LTB 11 Foundation and The Centre (f/k/a The Centre for Women). She also volunteers with numerous community organizations.
Katie is licensed to practice in Florida, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Her practice focuses on Taxation, including planning and litigation, and Estate Planning for wealthy families.
