Amy Klockenga Joins Labor & Employment Team at Baker & Daniels

CHICAGO (November 28, 2011) - Amy K. Klockenga has joined the labor and employment team at Baker & Daniels LLP. As an associate, she will practice from the law firm's Chicago office.

Klockenga will assist clients with a range of employment matters, particularly employment litigation and labor relations. Before joining Baker & Daniels, she worked as an attorney for the United States Social Security Administration and also as a civil litigation associate at a mid-sized defense law firm in Chicago. After graduating from law school, Klockenga was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable N. Patrick Crooks of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin and also clerked for the Honorable James T. Moody of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

Prior to her legal career, Klockenga was a human resources manager and labor relations manager for 10 years at General Electric, John Deere and SAB Miller (Miller Brewing Company). She is certified as a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) and a certified compensation professional (CCP).

Klockenga earned her law degree cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2007. She received a master's degree in labor and industrial relations in 1996 and a bachelor's degree magna cum laude in political science in 1994, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
