Armstrong Teasdale Announces New Associates

- Armstrong Teasdale announces the addition of five new associates to the firm, bringing the total number of firm wide attorneys to 242. The firm’s newest hires join many of the top practice groups; including intellectual property, litigation, corporate and financial services.

A member of the Financial Services practice group, Katherine (Katie) Dierdorf (St. Louis) helps lenders and other creditors increase their return through bankruptcy or informal workouts, liquidation and litigation proceedings. She earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law and B.A. in history from the University of Michigan. Katie is admitted to practice in Missouri and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, American Bar Association and The Missouri Bar.

Katherine (Kate) James (St. Louis) is a member of the Corporate Services Group handling mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law work. She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and B.A. in English and B.S. in psychology from Webster University. Kate is admitted in Missouri and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and American Bar Association.

Raphael (Rafi) Nemes (St. Louis) is a member of the Litigation practice group. He earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and A.B. in government from Harvard University. Admitted to practice in Missouri, Rafi is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, American Bar Association and The Missouri Bar.

A member of the Litigation practice group, Krystle Scherling (Kansas City) will work on matters related to tort and catastrophic events, insurance coverage, products liability, fire and electrical liability and general business litigation. She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and B.A. in political science and Spanish from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Krystle is fluent in Spanish. She is admitted to practice in Missouri and is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and The Missouri Bar.

Tiffany Schwartz (St. Louis) is a member of the Intellectual Property practice group guiding brand owners in matters involving trademark selection, registration, policing and protection strategies. She also counsels clients in copyright, internet and anti-counterfeiting matters. Tiffany earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and B.A. in mathematics and philosophy from Westminster College. She is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The Missouri Bar, Illinois State Bar Association, International Trademark Association and The Women Lawyer’s Association of Greater St. Louis. Civically, she is involved in Legal Advocates for Abused Women and Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts.
