Greenbaum’s Women’s Leadership Forum Dines at Soul Kitchen, Jon Bon Jovi Foundation’s Community Restaurant
WOODBRIDGE, N.J. (December 29, 2011) - On Thursday, December 15, 2011, members of the Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP had dinner at JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, New Jersey. JBJ Soul Kitchen is a non-profit community restaurant run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. Its premise is simple: there are no prices on the menu and customers are asked to make a donation or provide volunteer services to earn a voucher for a meal.
Emily Kaller, Chair of the WLF, remarked that “The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming and heart-warming. This was a wonderful opportunity for women at the firm to strengthen the bonds among the women lawyers while supporting a wonderful organization.” In the past, the WLF has sponsored activities at other local charities such as sponsoring a food drive, volunteering at a local soup kitchen or making and donating brown-bagged lunches.
The mission of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum is to advance women in the firm and throughout the business community at large by helping business leaders grow professionally and sustain business success in positions of leadership. The Forum presents and sponsors a variety of educational, networking and mentoring opportunities.
The firm has over 100 attorneys in four main practice departments: Litigation; Real Estate; Corporate; and Tax, Trusts and Estates, and 19 practice areas offering complete legal services. The firm has offices located in Woodbridge and Roseland, New Jersey.
