Hagan Davis Attorneys Recognized by Two Independent Legal Ranking Services
GREENSBORO, N.C. (February 14, 2012) - Three attorneys in the law firm of Hagan Davis Mangum Barrett & Langley, PLLC have been recognized by two independent lawyer rating services.
Two partners, Charles T. “Chip” Hagan III and D. Beth Langley, have been named by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine as top attorneys for 2012. Ms. Langley has also been named by Super Lawyers as one of the top 50 women lawyers in North Carolina. In addition, Jason B. Buckland has been named a North Carolina Rising Star for 2012.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. Less than five percent of lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion. Rising Stars are selected through a similar process of peer nominations of attorneys who are under age 40 and have 10 years or less of experience.
Beth Langley was also named as one of Business North Carolina’s 2012 Legal Elite, a listing of the state's top lawyers in business-related categories. Winners are chosen by their peers and only about 3% of attorneys in the state are selected for this distinction.
“We are pleased to have the skills and experience of these attorneys recognized and validated through peer based evaluations,” said Roddy Davis, partner in the firm.
“Chip” Hagan is a business and corporate lawyer and has spent his legal career representing clients in mergers and acquisitions and ongoing business needs.
Beth Langley concentrates her practice in labor & employment and business litigation. She has been recognized among the Legal Elite employment attorneys in North Carolina each year since 2004.
Jason Buckland focuses his practice in the area of business litigation.
