Funds assist children served by Guardian ad Litem Program Nanci DuBois, Executive Director of the Lee County Bar Association, is pleased to announce that the LCBA will host a charity golf tournament on Saturday, May 5th, at Fiddlesticks Country Club. The event will raise funds for Voices for Kids of Southwest Florida, the non-profit financial support arm of the Guardian ad Litem Program.

On September 11, 2010, members of the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, Pa., personal injury law firm Scartelli, Distasio & Kowalski, P.C. participated in and raised funds for the 20th Annual Susan G. Komen Northeastern Pennsylvania Race for the Cure®. Assembling a team of 18 members, the personal injury firm raised more than $1,000 for the cause.

What began as an excuse to encourage a few people to run a race has developed into a team of more than 40 lawyers, clients and friends who will compete in the 14th annual Chicago Half Marathon and 5K on Sunday, September 12.
